We have received a letter from International President Matthew D. Loeb on the issue of "Piracy"

A letter from Mr. James E. Flanders, District Secretary-Treasure has been received pertaining to a letter from
International President Loeb about supporting Bill H.R. 676 for passage of single payer health care. I would
encourage all members to take the time to read further by clicking on the letters "PDF" file. Please note that this
is a 2 mb file which is not too bad if you have a good internet connection.

"EMPLOYEE FREE CHOICE ACT"
Hello Brothers and Sisters of Local 53 and vistors. The follow News Letter is from our International President Mr. Matthew D. Loeb
in reference to the EMPLOYEE FREE CHOICE ACT. Your help would be greatly appreciated to join in this cause. United we can
make a difference in working conditions and the equality of pay for those less fortunate. I have attached a 3 page 713 kb pdf file for your review

Every Local 53 card holding member has been assigned an E-mail address which starts off
with the 1st letter of your first name followed by your last name followed by @iatse53.com
Example: skendall@iatse53.com
If your last name has a jr you should add jr at the end of your last name.
If your last name has the II or III at the end you will need to add 2 or 3.
To receive your Email and to send Email to others you will have to type into your compute
browser the following URL address: http://webmail.iatse53.com
You will then be asked to login by entering your email address as stated above and then
a Password which you can get by calling Steven Kendall. This will be a great way to keep
in touch with everyone and to keep track of Events that you are shceduled to work on.
You will have your own personal calendar that you can enter in your work schedule as well.
